PRT-001

Bambu X1C

Speed + Precision for Engineering Filaments

The X1C handles the majority of our engineering filament work. Its fully enclosed and temperature-controlled chamber is essential for printing ABS, ASA, and carbon-fiber nylons without warping.

Bambu H2D

Maximum Heat & Multi-Material Capability

The H2D handles PAHT-CF and other high-temperature materials that the X1C cannot reach. Its larger build volume is ideal for full-scale prototypes, large jigs, and enclosures.

Build Volume320 × 320 × 325 mm
Max Speed600 mm/s

Engineering Materials

Not sure which material to use? Share your operating conditions and we'll recommend the right filament for your application.

PLA★★☆☆☆
Polylactic Acid
USE Prototypes, visual models, non-load-bearing parts
TEMP ≤ 60 °C

Easiest to print; best surface finish. Not suitable for outdoor or high-heat environments.

PETG★★★☆☆
Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol
USE Functional prototypes, housings, jigs, fixtures
TEMP ≤ 80 °C

Good chemical resistance. Slight flexibility reduces brittleness. Excellent layer adhesion.

ABS★★★☆☆
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
USE Functional parts, enclosures, post-machined components
TEMP ≤ 100 °C

Machinable post-print. Accepts acetone smoothing for sealing. Requires enclosed printer.

ASA★★★☆☆
Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate
USE Outdoor parts, UV-exposed housings, automotive
TEMP ≤ 95 °C

ABS-like properties with significantly improved UV and weather resistance. ABS replacement for outdoor use.

Nylon★★★★☆
Polyamide (PA6)
USE Gears, bushings, clips, wear components
TEMP ≤ 120 °C

Excellent fatigue and abrasion resistance. Absorbs moisture — store and dry before printing.

PA12-CF★★★★★
Nylon 12 + 15% Carbon Fiber
USE Structural brackets, tooling, aerospace jigs
TEMP ≤ 130 °C

Stiff, lightweight, dimensionally stable. Carbon fibers align along print direction — design with this in mind.

PAHT-CF★★★★★
High-Temp Nylon + Carbon Fiber
USE High-temp tooling, under-hood automotive, engine bay parts
TEMP ≤ 170 °C

Highest heat resistance in our filament lineup. Requires 300 °C nozzle and high-temp bed. Bambu H2D only.
