Leon Manufacturing Group provides certified MIG and TIG welding on virtually any weldable metal — mild steel, high-strength structural steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel, 6061 and 5052 aluminum, chromoly, and duplex alloys.
Our welders hold AWS certification and operate in a fully equipped shop with dedicated welding bays, pre- and post-weld heat treatment capability, and a CMM-based inspection station for weld dimensional verification.
We handle everything from thin-gauge sheet assemblies (as light as 16 gauge) to heavy structural steel (up to 2″ plate). Services include: structural assemblies and moment frames, pressure vessel fabrication, pipe spools and process piping, ornamental and architectural metalwork, repair welding and overlay cladding.
All critical welds can be accompanied by visual, dye-penetrant (PT), or magnetic-particle (MT) inspection documentation on request.
CNC & Manual Machining

Our machine shop runs modern CNC machining centers (3-axis and 4-axis mills, CNC lathes) alongside a full complement of manual equipment — manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, and drill presses — giving us the flexibility to tackle any job efficiently, from one-off prototypes to production runs.
We machine aluminum alloys, carbon and alloy steels, stainless steels, titanium, cast iron, copper alloys, and engineering plastics such as Delrin, UHMW, and PEEK. Our equipment operates to tolerances of ±0.001″ as standard, with tighter tolerances achievable on request.
Capabilities include: precision turning and threading, face and profile milling, pocketing and contour milling, boring to close tolerances, keyway cutting and spline milling, thread milling (internal and external), and finish grinding to mirror finishes.
We work from customer-supplied CAD files (STEP, IGES, DWG, DXF) or create machining programs from sketches and samples. Our programming team uses Mastercam and Fusion 360 for multi-op 3D toolpath generation.
Industrial Repair

Unplanned downtime is expensive. Leon Manufacturing Group operates an emergency industrial repair service for power plants, water treatment facilities, food processing plants, and general heavy industry across South Florida.
We dispatch experienced millwrights and machinists to your facility for on-site diagnosis, repair welding, shaft and bearing replacement, precision alignment, and in-place machining — bringing the shop floor to you when bringing the machine to us is not practical.
Common repairs we execute: pump impeller and volute repairs, shaft straightening and re-machining, keyway and spline repair, bearing housing re-boring and sleeving, conveyor frame and drive component fabrication, gearbox housing repair, and structural steel repair welding.
For critical equipment we offer permanent repair drawings and 3D scanning to document the "as-repaired" condition, giving your maintenance team a baseline for future reference.
Sheet Metal Fabrication

From flat blanks to finished assemblies, our sheet metal department handles the full production chain: cutting, forming, joining, and finishing. We work in mild steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel (304, 316), aluminum (5052, 6061), and copper.
Cutting methods include plasma arc cutting for thick material and angle grinder/nibbler work for detail cuts. Press brake forming handles bends to tight radii, and our rolls produce cylinders and cones for tanks and duct transitions.
Common products: electrical and equipment enclosures, HVAC plenums and transitions, stainless sanitary panels for food-grade applications, structural brackets and gussets, decorative panels and façade elements, and custom cabinetry.
Finishing options include: TIG-welded seams ground and polished flush, powder coat-ready surface prep, stainless 2B or brushed #4 finishes, and painted assemblies using customer-specified colors.
Custom Fabrication

Custom fabrication is our core identity. Leon Manufacturing Group was built on the ability to take a concept — a sketch, a measurement, or a vision — and turn it into a finished steel product. We build what others say can't be done economically.
Tubing fabrication includes bending, mitering, coping, and notching of round, square, and rectangular tube for frames, roll cages, conveyor structures, furniture, and architectural features. We bend tube from 1/2″ OD to 4″ OD with tight-radius and mandrel-bent capability.
Our railing and stair work ranges from industrial safety systems to residential architectural features: pipe and square tube handrails, cable rail systems, steel stair stringers, treads (bar grating, diamond plate, solid plate), and landing platforms.
Structural fabrication includes beams, columns, braces, ladders, mezzanines, equipment skids, and machine bases — with welded or bolted connections as required.
Engineering & Reverse Engineering

Many of the parts we manufacture arrive with no drawings at all — a broken component, a worn part, or a machine so old the OEM no longer exists. Our engineering team reconstructs accurate 3D CAD models through physical measurement, CMM inspection, and structured-light 3D scanning.
We design new parts from specification: material selection, load analysis, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturability review are all part of our engineering workflow. Our engineers use SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and AutoCAD.
FEA (Finite Element Analysis) is available for stress verification on structural and pressure-containing parts. We produce formal engineering drawings with GD&T callouts, title blocks, and revision control — suitable for your internal records or a third-party audit.
Deliverables include: STEP/IGES CAD files, 2D engineering drawings (PDF and DWG), 3D scan mesh files, material certifications, and as-built inspection reports.
Additive Manufacturing
FDM · Engineering Plastics · Rapid Prototyping
Leon Manufacturing Group operates Bambu Lab X1C and H2D printers — high-speed, high-precision FDM machines capable of printing engineering-grade thermoplastics with multi-material support and automatic bed leveling.
We print prototypes, functional fixtures, jigs, tooling, and end-use parts in a full range of engineering filaments. Material selection depends on thermal requirements, chemical resistance, mechanical loads, and UV/outdoor exposure.
Our additive service complements our traditional manufacturing: 3D-printed fixtures hold metal parts during welding; printed patterns guide drilling; complex duct transitions that would be expensive to fabricate in metal can be printed quickly for evaluation.
File formats accepted: STL, 3MF, STEP. We handle slicer setup and print parameters. Tight-tolerance features that cannot be held in print can be machined post-print.
